Bólugil Canyon

Bólugil-sprengur is a very beautiful canyon where the river falls approximately 140 m and forms 7 small waterfalls in a row. The canyon has an interesting geological history. It is also said that the troll Bóla lived in this impressive canyon. The path to Bólugil starts at the end of the gravel road at the bottom of the canyon. Continue up the canyon. The path ends at a viewpoint over the waterfall with a view of the canyon and the valley. Follow the same path back down.
